Hot Heads Extensions before and after by Sovay @ Salon Sovay

Before Extensions and AFTER Color

After Hot Heads Extensions

Here's a client who was ready to try a new line of hair extensions.  She previously used Great Lengths hair extensions and was ready to try Hot Heads Extensions.  The first thing I wanted to do was work on her baseline color and then add the new extensions to match her new color.  She had platinum blonde color in the  front/sides and a warm (yellow/orange) blonde in the back.  I envisioned a cooler tone (AKA "ash") all over and wanted to slowly add some dimension to her hair, i.e. low lights in level 7 (honey brown) woven throughout.  Her hair was in extremely compromised condition due to on base lightening with harsh formulas ( I suspect) and repeated hair extension exposure, etc.  I encouraged her to let some of her natural color come through as an added color dimension and we would slowly work on altering the color a little bit at a time to ensure we didn't harm her hair too much in the process.  The first photo shows her hair with the original color done by the previous colorist.  My job was to address her new growth, add some dimension with low lights, and change overall tonation to an ash/neutral blonde (picture 2).  The third photo is showing the addition of the Hot Heads 18 - 20 inch in color 8 and 23.   ~ Sovay Reeder @ Salon Sovay

  1. This transformation is incredible! I will be arriving in Austin today, here on business and am in dire need of new Hot Heads! I was supposed to be a hair model for them in Orlando at the Primiere convention but just found out I will be traveling for work for 11 weeks. If you have a moment, can you email me a quote for the 18-20 inch extensions, mine are #25(very blonde). I'd love to stop in and get this mane fixed, especially since tomorrow is my birthday, the big 26 woohu!! Can you shoot me a quick email to danielleprawdzik@gmail.com? Thank you sooo much in advance! Look forward to stopping into your salon!
